Easy to Use - Lock and unlock from your smart phone via Bluetooth. No more fumbling with combination tumblers or worrying about lost or forgotten keys. The HEX-e App is user intuitive, and allows adjustable mode settings.
100db Alarm & Push Notification - Get an instant notification to your smart phone (when connected to WIFI) and trigger of alarm when a thief attempts to cut the band or tamper with the lock from our capacitive sensing technology. The HEXBAND-e alarm is 100db with a unique pulsing tone that will test the patience of any attacker. The alarm can be toggled on/off in sleep mode.
Compact & Lightweight - Weighing appx. 450g (under a pound), the HEXBAND-e is easy to stow and carry. The lock coils to a compact 5" outside diameter.
Long Battery Life & Level Check - Expect a charge to last a week under daily heavy use and upwards of three months in light use. By simply double-tapping the case housing, you can see various charge levels via LED feedback. The battery level can also be checked via the HEX-e App.
Reliable Lock Mechanism - No worries about sticky or jammed combination tumblers as the lock mechanism is sealed and electronically driven. The HEX-e internal motor-cam design allows for great tactile feel and assurance of strength.
Two Lengths - The everyday 30” is best for single bikes or scooters or gear, and the versatile 50” long is idea for multiple bikes or longer reaches.

About Capacitive Sensing Technology
If you are not an electrical engineer, you may never have heard of capacitive sensing. This technology can detect and measure anything that is conductive or has a dielectric constant different from air. Many types of sensors use capacitive sensing, including sensors to detect and measure proximity, pressure, position, force, humidity, and acceleration. Touchscreens are a good example.
HEXBAND-e utilizes capacitive sensing to detect tools or attacks that are within proximity of the stainless-steel lock band or housing. When the alarm is enabled from the HEX-e App, any motion or touch will trigger the alarm.
